Management Support during a Reduction in Force
Keystone Associates assists our clients and their management teams in the areas of planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting all phases of a reduction in force.  Additionally, we discuss and review all appropriate communications, devise effective exiting processes and coordinate schedules and timetables for timely and effective notifications.

Our proprietary Notifier Training program provides instruction to members of the management team charged with communicating the separation notices to employees.  We work closely with each client to finalize a script and provide managers with the tools necessary to conduct the separation meeting effectively.  In the training, we focus on the logistics of the separation, the importance of delivering a clear and consistent message and any specific concerns about employee reactions.   We also provide training for managers to minimize the effects of the reduction on remaining employees.  Managers who skillfully handle the separations of affected employees have a better rate of retaining staff and improving the morale and productivity of remaining employees.

Keystone also provides On-site Support on notification day to meet with each of the separated employees individually.  There are multiple benefits – for both affected employees and the client – to having Keystone representatives on-site during a reduction.

Career Transition
Career transition services are available with varying features and in varying program lengths depending on the needs of the employee.

The Comprehensive Career Transition Program offers complete career services including one-on-one consulting, administrative support, online resources, networking opportunities, job development and private office space and is delivered in a variety of program lengths starting with three months.  The Career Advancement Program is a blended delivery approach combining one-on-one consulting, intensive group learning opportunities, online resources, job development, resume development and access to the career resource area for six or twelve weeks.  Keystone’s FastStart Program assists employees with a “jump start” to their job search through an intensive one-day seminar with additional private resume development consultation, resume production and Online Career Center access. For organizations looking to provide career transition services to employees in a private group setting, the cost-effective Job Search Seminar is delivered in a two-day workshop and is often combined with the Job Development Program which extends participants’ services for 45 or 90 days and includes private consultation time with the seminar consultant, resume development and production and access to the Online Career Center and other web-based resources.

Career Management
Career management services are designed to help both organizations and retained employees effectively handle career challenges.  Keystone’s career management offerings are custom designed consulting services that address our clients’ internal career planning challenges.  We are especially experienced with:

A Career Resource Center brings Keystone’s services to an organization to provide career management assistance to employees looking for internal or external career opportunities. Redeployment services assist employees with internal job searches when their current positions have been eliminated. Our Partner Relocation Career Assistance Program provides Keystone’s quality career services to a trailing partner and is an added benefit to our corporate clients’ recruiting efforts.
